psycho billy in renne

j.f. and haley met us at our show in oakland where we played with yes please. now we are here at their home in renne playing at a psyco-billy bar called mondo bizzaro. graffitti of penises and homophobic put-downs cover the walls of the backstage room, and the fridge is crammed full of more beer then I thought possible for us to drink. j.f. and haley’s friends come by with dinner for us and we eat and drink and talk. haley is from the bay area, it is strange for me to hear an american speaking french, the rythms and tones are still english but everything else being french.
