Missoula, MT

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA We drove to Missoula, passing through the pan handle of idaho, and Couer ‘d Alene. It’s funny, writing songs about places, then going through those places. The lake looks beautiful, bigger then I remembered. It’s still hot outside today. We drive through the bitter root mountains and finally make it to missoula. Sometimes I get into these rituals when I get to town. In San Francisco I like to go to the mission and eat a burritto, in Arcata, I usualy stop by don’s donuts at least once. In missoula, I like to go to butterfly herbs, order a pot of evening in missoula tea, and drink it with a ton of honey. I know.
We got a really nice review in the Missoula Independent; which was basically this metal guy saying that we changed his mind about folk music.

Tyson set us up at the ZACC Gallery (our friend in Grand Rapids pointed out that this is eerily similar to their DAAC Gallery)

Modality was the first band, and they had more gear then I thought was possible for a two piece band to have, including an amazing light board that flashed DANCE! at certain points during their songs.

We also played with another band called Something Imaginary super nice folks. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA then we were off to bed, we had a 9 hour drive the next day.
